The Monkey Light's unique graphics synthesizer generates thousands of constantly changing patterns and colors. The photos below show you a sample of the different styles of graphics. For each style there are hundreds of variations.

Right out of the box the Monkey Light is configured to show all the patterns and colors. If you prefer only some of the patterns and colors, you can use the on-board buttons anytime to set your choices. No matter how many or few colors and patterns you choose, the graphics synthesizer will continue generating changing effects following your chosen preferences. If you select very specific preferences, the synthesizer will end up generating just slight variations on your choices.

Note: the patterns may not fill your whole wheel when riding - please refer to the FAQ question "What does it look like when riding". The visual gaps you see in the graphics below are an artifact of the camera - when viewed live the graphics fade gradually from light to dark, the size of the light part depends on your riding speed.

Dead Battery Indicator This special pattern is shown in greenish-yellow when the batteries are low, and in red when the batteries are almost dead. This special pattern warns you that the batteries are almost dead, and gives you enough time to get home safely and replace them. When this pattern is showing, you will not be able to use the menus to change the pattern.
